Caleb McElrea Media started on Instagram as a page for wildlife facts and images. It is continuing to grow across multiple platforms, into a natural history storytelling initiative that occasionally annoys middle-aged people on the internet with its image captions. Kickin’ goals. (We also make films).

My name’s Caleb, and I love laughing, imagery, and animals. While this website is mostly home to CMM’s photographic portfolio, CMM’s comically-influenced approach to natural history storytelling is the next step in the evolution of this home site. Photos have been coming out of CMM for a long time, but ideas bubbling under the surface for writing and filmmaking are the really exciting concepts that are coming up on the horizon.
